C’est la vie

Being back at home, I was pretty excited to get back onto the computer and see how my site was doing…17 page views? That wasn’t as bad as I was expecting, but I’m still not overwhelmed
I think that being without the internet had made me slightly delirious as I kept on having dreams of returning and going onto the computer
Though I had managed to pre-occupy myself in the sunny and hot North-West of France
As well as the obvious, getting a tan (which I think is pretty nice
), I actually spent some time painting
I’m not really much of a painter so the whole paintbrush and oil paints experience was pretty new to me
And I even went to these painting classes…though I wouldn’t exactly call it that
Everything was pretty abstract as you weren’t supposed to paint from life but by sketching some swirly charcoal lines and seeing what appeared
I suppose it was quite fun though I didn’t really see the meaningful message of my painting that my teacher could see but whatever
I have to say though, you never really appreciate the joys of communication
Seriously, I was literally the only English-speaking person there so my vocabulary mostly consisted of Ouis and Nons

My view of the beach. Looks quite quiet, but that’s only because it was early in the day
Seeing as I was without the internet for 2 weeks, I actually did some drawing

This one was actually from a picture I copied so I can’t take any credit for it, really

Though I’m happy to say this one is all me

I should probably add these to the ‘folio but I cba yet as I have other things to do
I felt mean leaving you all for 2 weeks so I haven’t returned empty handed
- 11 new magazine stocks
I bought a Teen Vogue on the way and managed to get a French Elle
There’s also quite a lot of PNGs, but I’ll add them later
…speaking of not coming back empty handed, I got this bag at the Night Market which I love

The brand is tokidoki if you’re interested

I also got this really nice black shorts jumpsuit/playsuit which I wore on the beach
During my stay I watched Fantastic Mr Fox on DVD but thank God it was in English
It was actually pretty good considering it was a kid’s movie and I love the animations as their like Wallace & Gromit because they are made from real models – that must have taken ages so props to them
I was and am in a pretty happy mood as I just got the results for some exams I was doing. I’m soo happy as I actually got full marks on 3 of them and 90+ most of the others. HOLY SHIZZLE…Did I do that?
Ha ha
As a final thing to say, I decided to open up affiliate requests again and also will be making my way to return comments and email
30 Aug
Goin’ away
Hey guys – this post is so short I didn’t even bother to make an icon
Anyway, I will be gone from 15 August -29 August (so about 2 weeks)
I won’t have access to the internet so basically, I cannot do anything with the site
Any mail I get, I’m sorry I won’t be able to answer it right away so please be patient and also I’ll try and get round to returning comments
Sorry beautiful affiliates, I won’t be very active :’(
Okay, I’m kind of dreading to return as my visits will probably go down to about 2
‘Cus this had happened before and I was only gone for 2 days
Oh dear
Au revoir my lovelies and I leave you with this heart-warming song
Man, I need this song on my iPod
Ha ha Grace, that’s us like you said

Changed the colour of the text in the blog comment’s form so you can read it better (instead of white)
I didn’t want to be responsible for blindness
